Franciscan Sisters ministering in West Point

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is blessed to have the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity serving on their staff.

Sister Elizabeth Ann Miller teaches sixth grade Religion and Nebraska history to the fourth grade. She may be found assisting in various capacities such as freshman study hall monitor, as well as teacher aide or just visiting in the hallways.

Sister Elizabeth Benvie is the seventh grade Religion teacher.  She also serves as the Liturgical coordinator/Musician for PreK-6 grade, Liturgical consultant for 7-12 grade, Youth Choir director, Guitar instructor and parish musician/cantor.  She is in the process of encouraging young musicians to become actively involved in their school and parish liturgies.

Sister Joy Rose serves as the Director of Mission at Franciscan Care Services.  She promotes Servant Living in the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi in a variety of ways as noted in this photo.

Sister Sarah Bertler (pictured-far right) serves as an online nursing instructor for Silver Lake College of the Holy Family in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  She also volunteers in numerous capacities in West Point.
